Starts/Ends-Belmont Lake State Park

Multi-use Trail & Quit Streets

We start our ride in Belmont State Park in West Babylon. (Parking fee in season or Empire Pass, 625 Belmont Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704). Start at the restrooms and head towards Belmont lake, the ride takes you counter clockwise around the lake to the southern tip by the waterfall. Here you will head south under the Southern Parkway and continue riding south on the trail. The trail crisscrosses the Carls River under a canopy of trees, as you make your way past Southards Pond and go under Sunrise Highway towards Argyle Lake & Babylon Village. Here you transition to quiet residential streets to Babylon's water front area where we get great views of the Great South Bay and the Robert Mosses Bridge. From here the ride heads back north to the village, around Argyle Lake and back on the trails to Belmont Park.
