After check-in and bike fitting we start our ride, and in no time, we'll be casually riding on the back roads of the South shore, heading towards the Great South Bay. After we ride down to the Great South Bay to check out the incredible views, we will then head back up to the village of Patchogue to our first brewery.
After some tastings and trivia, we head back on the bikes to our next stop, Corey Beach & Flo’s Luncheonette. At this stop you can purchase lunch from Flo's or from their beach front shack Floasis, then sit back and enjoy your lunch beach side. It's our belief that a great bike tour deserves great food, and Flo’s of Blue Point has been doing that now for over 90 years. Retro window-serve food shack doling out burgers, wraps, seafood & shakes since 1926. (Lunch Not included)
After Corey Beach and Lunch, we will enjoy the easy ride to our second brewery. The vibe here is Fun and you can sample the brews while listening to music or taking in a game of corn hole. From here it is only a short trip back to where we started our bicycle journey, and where we give you the results of the trivia quizzes and pictures taken during the tour.
The route is mostly flat with some small rolling hills and is designed for active people to enjoy. The total riding distance is about 10 miles and most tours finish by 3pm..
*At LIBT we do not recommend drinking beer when cycling. We always suggest to our guests:
"swirl, sniff, sip & spit"! We hope you find a bottle (or more) you would like to purchase and really enjoy later.
